LOCAL GOVERNMENT TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENT REPORTS

The process of training needs assessment helps ensure that training provided by various local and international organizations corresponds to the full range of municipal responsibilities and their needs; that basic and priority capacities of all local employees are built; and that a systematic approach to continued learning and capacity improvement of local government officials is pursued.

TNA is the first step in developing a comprehensive training system as it identifies what is needed, when it is needed, and how it should be delivered.
