24/01/2012 - Organized by the United Nations Development Program - UNDP and in cooperation with the company ENOVA 2 workshop will be held as a part of the UNDP GEF Project Mainstreaming Karst Peatland Conservation Concerns into Key Economic Sectors – Karst. Goal of this project is to create a model for inclusion of biodiversity preservation issues of karst fields in policies and regulations which regulate spatial planning at the cantonal level and promote protection of biodiversity in Livanjsko polje, as well as to involve all interested parties in this process. » more
24/01/2012 - The Free Legal Aid (FLA) Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina was established today by the joint signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between 11 organizations that provide these services throughout the country. Thanks to the support of UNDP's project "Access to Justice - Dealing with the past and building confidence for the future", funded by the UN Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery, UNDP and the Government of Switzerland, the first key step was made towards an organized multi-institutional approach to addressing questions of common interest of all FLA providers.» more

Unemployment in Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the most important issues for young people, according to the latest Bosnian government statistics, more than 517,000 people are out of work - most of them are Bosnian youth.
