08/05/2012 - The ICTY Chief Prosecutor, Serge Brammertz, joined the UN Resident Coordinator in BiH, Yuri Afanasiev, the President of the High Judicial and Prosecutor Council of BiH, Milorad Novković, and the President and the Chief Prosecutor of the District Court and Prosecutor´s Office in East Sarajevo, Senaid Ibrahimefendić and Rajko Čolović respectively, to discuss support and protection of witnesses and victims in criminal matters and to visit the newly opened witness support offices in East Sarajevo. » more

EU and UNDP’s Support in Strengthening Local Democracy and Cooperation between BiH Municipalities and NGOs

24/04/2012 - The final workshop of the EU funded project “Reinforcement of Local Democracy II – LOD II” was held on 26 April 2012 in Sarajevo, hotel Europe, to present the results of the project that was implemented in 15 BiH municipalities. The workshop was attended by the Mayors of project partner municipalities and other local self-government units as well as representatives of civil society organizations, Delegation of the EU in BiH, BiH Ministry of Justice, RS and Federal Associations of Municipalities and Cities, and United Nations Development Programme.» more
